On 7-8 October 2024, the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development represented the Republic of Moldova at the 10th CEE Procurement and Supply Forum in Budapest, Hungary.
The event, organized by the German Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Logistics (BME), brought together industry leaders, procurement and logistics experts, and decision-makers from across Europe to discuss current trends, innovations, and opportunities in the field.
At the forum, Silvia Cangea-Digolean, Head of Project Development and International Cooperation at ODA, presented the Republic of Moldova as a strategic partner in the region, highlighting its role in European value chains and its potential to become a key supplier.
The speech emphasized the importance of strengthening trade relations with European markets and integrating Moldovan small and medium-sized enterprises into these regional supply chains.
In addition, Doina Ciornea, senior specialist of the Competitiveness and Internationalisation Programme, coordinated the participation of three Moldovan companies in B2B meeting sessions, which generated 19 direct meetings between Moldovan suppliers and international partners.
The interactions opened new opportunities for Moldovan companies, facilitating their access to international markets.
This event took place with the support of the project "Strong Enterprises and Municipalities for Moldova," funded by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss Government and implemented by GIZ Moldova. The European Union, through the "EU for Small and Medium Enterprises" project, and other development partners also financially supported the event.
